Houston Dynamo has agreed a broadcast deal with Miami-based Spanish television network Mega TV, reports SportsPro. Mega TV, which is owned and operated by New Jersey-based Spanish Broadcast System, will become the Dynamo's official Spanish language partner.
Mega TV will broadcast seven Dynamo away games, which will be simulcast on Comcast SportsNet Houston following an agreement penned in January.
In addition, Mega TV will broadcast 30-minute pre- and post-game shows, a 30-minute season preview show and show Dynamo highlights in its weekly magazine show Portada.
No financial terms were released.
"We feel it is very important for us to have Dynamo games available on Spanish language television, and this deal allows us to continue that tradition," Dynamo President Chris Canetti said.
