Carolina Dynamo's Sebastien Ibeagha has decided to return to Duke for his senior year at university.
The highly-rated USA U20 defender had emerged as a target for 2012 MLS runners-up Houston Dynamo but MLSsoccer's Darren Lovell has suggested he chose to remain at college.
"Hearing Dynamo homegrown product Sebastien Ibeagha is 100% going back to school at Duke for his SR yr. Dynamo made a big run at him," Lovell posted on Twitter.
Ibeagha was the USL Premier Development League defender of the year in 2012 but will get another season of college soccer under his belt ahead of a potential professional move in 2014.
