Houston Dynamo striker Brian Ching is considering retirement.
But he admits a good end to the season has him rethinking his plans.
"I was 95 percent sure I was going to retire, but the last month I’ve been feeling OK and contributing, so that’s kinda changed my mind,” Ching told MLSsoccer.com. “I feel like I’ve contributed quite a bit on the field closing out games. Those kinds of things make you still think you have value to the team. I definitely don’t want to be that guy that’s just hanging on.
“At this point in my career, I think that we’re going to have to wait until at least a month after [the season] to see how I feel, see how my body feels and see if I’m capable of doing another season.”
