Houston Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Month by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for April of the 2011 MLS season.
Davis' League-leading six assists and his leadership during the club's five-game unbeaten streak earned him the honor.
Davis' deft ability to pick out teammates on crosses and free kicks has been the catalyst to the Dynamo's recent scoring binge.
Davis factored in seven of their 10 goals as the team compiled a 3-0-2 record during April. Broadcasters have complimented his swerving service by referring to him as "the left-footed Beckham."
