Houston Dynamo's Kinnear: Cameron good enough for USA squad

Houston Dynamo head coach Dom Kinnear has indicated that centre-back Geoff Cameron could find himself in the USA national team fray over the next couple of years.

The 26-year old, who has represented his nation on one occasion, is targeting a spot in Juergen Klinsmann's squad and when quizzed about his player, Kinnear was very complimentary.

"I just think he's a good player," Kinnear said of Cameron. "I think he's a good center back, but I also think in a tournament format, because of his versatility, he can play a lot of different positions - in the midfield, in the back.

"Looking at him now in the next year or two years, if he keeps playing the way he's playing at center back, a lot of good things can happen for him."
