Houston Dynamo’s Kinnear: Cameron good enough for USA squad
Houston Dynamo head coach Dom Kinnear has indicated that centre-back Geoff Cameron could find himself in the USA national team fray over the next couple of years.
The 26-year old, who has represented his nation on one occasion, is targeting a spot in Juergen Klinsmann’s squad and when quizzed about his player, Kinnear was very complimentary.
“Looking at him now in the next year or two years, if he keeps playing the way he's playing at center back, a lot of good things can happen for him.""I just think he's a good player," Kinnear said of Cameron. "I think he's a good center back, but I also think in a tournament format, because of his versatility, he can play a lot of different positions - in the midfield, in the back.
