Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu believes USA teammate Stuart Holden would be an asset to the Scottish club. Holden is currently with MLS club Houston Dynamo but has been linked with a return to Europe and the possibility of a move to Scotland is highly likely as the 24-year old was born in Aberdeen.
Edu admits he is unsure of what will happen with Holden but says he would be a very handy player if he was to lob in Glasgow.
"Stuart is a good player. I know him from the MLS and he was also part of the USA Olympic team with me," Edu said.
"I think he has a great chance of making the American team for the World Cup. I've heard a little bit of buzz about Stuart and Rangers. I think he could be a good addition and do well in the SPL. But I don't know what is going to happen."
