Houston Dynamo have agreed a radio rights deal with Gow Media, reports SportsPro. The 'multi-year' partnership will see Dynamo games aired live locally on 1560AM, with selected games also available on ESPN 97.5FM. There will also be a weekly magazine show, Dynamo All-Access, on 1560AM.
Chris Carnetti, the Dynamo president, said: "With Gow Media, 1560AM, and ESPN 97.5FM, we have found a group that believes in the Dynamo and Major League Soccer. They are committed to a partnership that will help our team, league and sport to grow.
"This is a tremendous development for the Dynamo and for soccer fans around the Houston area. I am pleased to have a strong English radio platform to thoroughly tell our compelling storylines."
Gow Media chief executive David Gow added: "We are really excited about this new partnership with the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo have incredible momentum - a winning team, a passionate fan base and a great new stadium.
