Roc Nation, the talent management and marketing agency, has struck its first team venue partnership, putting pen to paper with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Houston Dynamo, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

As the team's exclusive agency of record, Roc Nation will assist the Dynamo with new branding and sponsorship deals, as well as working to broker live entertainment opportunities for their home venue, the 22,000-seat BBVA Compass Stadium, and providing consulting services.

While terms of the deal were not disclosed, a Dynamo statement issued on Tuesday said the team 'look forward to Roc Nation's assistance with the continued growth of Houston's status as not only the Energy Capital of the World but an entertainment capital as well.'

"This unique partnership with the Dynamo is a textbook example of the all-encompassing capabilities of our agency," said Michael Yormark, Roc Nation's president and chief of branding and strategy.

"We greatly admire the Dynamo organisation and the rapid success they've had in a leading sports market such as Houston. We look forward to a long-standing relationship with the team and its properties."

Commenting in the statement, Dynamo chief revenue officer Steven Powell hailed his team's "large multicultural and millennial audience", while Dynamo president Chris Canetti added: "We are honoured to be partnering with Roc Nation on a number of our important business ventures going forward. They bring incredible energy, extensive resources, and a powerful network to our organisation. We are confident that they will play a key role in helping us achieve numerous business objectives."
