Houston Dynamo face losing stars Clark and Holden
Following their unlucky MLS play-offs exit last weekend, the Houston Dynamo will now focus on sorting out their playing roster for next season.
As is the case with every club, people will move on and others will come, meaning a group of players rarely stays together for more than one season.
The Dynamo will face this fact of soccer life during the off-season but they will be hoping the two names about to be mentioned do not go anywhere.
Ricardo Clark and Stuart Holden are both now free agents and speculation has begun in regards to their respective futures in Houston.
Reports suggest that 26-year old US international midfielder Clark is set to join a club in France whilst Scottish-born US star Holden could be on his way back to the UK.
If the pair happen to leave, it will leave a gaping hole in the Dynamo midfield and could also make life tougher for the duo to make Bob Bradley’s national squad ahead of the 2010 World Cup but like everywhere else, MLS is bound to have reports of star players leaving and often nothing ever eventuates.

It would hurt the defense, because Clark plays just behind the rest of the midfielders.. he is one of the best defensive midfielders in the USA today.. which is why he has had so much playing time for the USMNT lately.
Losing Holden after losing Dero hurts the attacking capabilities of the Dynamo. A great passer, the Dynamo were a completely different team when he was not on the field.
how would it harm their defense? they are both midfielders.....i guess you mean midfield, livorno was extremely close to signing clark, but i think clark said nevermind because they are so bad
