Houston Dynamo president of business operations Chris Canetti has cooled talk of a move for Mexico U17 World Cup winning captain Antonio Briseno.

The stylish centre-half was linked with Dynamo this week, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"There is no truth to those reports," Canetti told MLSsoccer.com.

Atlas are prepared to send Briseno away on-loan for the new season.
