Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier is delighted with the way his players are responding to his methods.
A 4-1 win over Blackburn on Saturday put Villa 12th in the Premier League after a spell in the drop zone.
The Frenchman said: "This is a long process but I am now happy I have a group of players who understand what I am trying to do.
"But I said even after the City defeat, I will not change my views. I will keep going and I know this is the way for the future."
