Hooper form delights Norwich boss Hughton

Gary Hooper continued his return to scoring form with a stunning 25-yard effort in Norwich City's 1-1 draw with Swansea City on Sunday.

The former Celtic star, who joined the Canaries in the summer, levelled for his side in stoppage time of the first half which was his fourth goal in his past six outings.

After the match, Hughton was full of praise for Hooper who came up with the goods when his team needed it the most.

"It was a fantastic and very special goal," he said.

"Gary is a finisher, technically a good striker of the ball so always gives himself a chance.

"It was set-up very nicely for him by Johan Elmander, but you still have to produce that.

"We conceded a poor goal and needed to get back into the game, we needed someone to produce something and thankfully Gary did."
