Honduran forward Walter Martinez is on trial with Colorado Rapids it has been reported.
The 30-year old, currently contracted to Chinese club Chongqing, is believed to be close to making the move to MLS with the Rapids his likely destination.
Martinez, who has spent time with such clubs as Marathon, Victoria and Bejing Guoan, has been linked with New England Revolution but will ply his trade for Colorado in the Desert Friendlies competition in a bid to impress Rapids head coach Oscar Pareja.
