Honda set to depart CSKA Moscow in January

Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow is almost certain to allow star midfielder Keisuke Honda to exit in January. The Japan international has been attracting plenty of attention ever since his brilliant performances at this year's World Cup and it seems that a move in the next transfer window is on the cards with CSKA officials saying any offers that come through will be considered.

"We do not plan to hold on to our players against their will. We will respect the players' wishes. We're ready to discuss a transfer if the price is right," a CSKA spokesperson told Sankei Sports.

Honda has already been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and AC Milan with the Reds believed to be in pole position but his signature would cost them around £12million ($AUD19.4m).
