It took Aberdeen until the start of November to finally record a victory at Pittodrie after going five matches without a win at home. But since beating Kilmarnock on November 1, Aberdeen have recorded five wins on the bounce on home turf.
Boss Jimmy Calderwood acknowledged it had taken time for the new players in his squad to adjust to life with the Dons.
He said: "We had six new players coming into the team at the start of the season and it takes time for them all to gel.
"It seems to be that in a lot of leagues all over Europe and the rest of the world there are many teams who are finding it easier to pick up points away from home.
"It is just about getting that break and we got the break against Kilmarnock in a very difficult game and that breeds confidence. The players are still getting to know each other and to know what it means to play for a club the size of Aberdeen but that's four games we have won on the bounce now.
"I'm just annoyed about conceding the goal late on as it would have been four clean sheets in a row too."
