Lewis Holtby suggests Tottenham's 6-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday was the worst in his career.
Spurs were dismantled by a rampant City side at Etihad Stadium which prompted German midfielder Holtby to apologize to the fans of the north London club.
"It is still hard to take," Holtby said on his Facebook page.
"I definitely couldn't sleep yesterday, it was probably the worst defeat in my life. Sorry to all of you Lilywhites.
"We have to show character now and bounce back from it! It isn't over until it's over."
Spurs get the chance to recover from that defeat when they host Manchester United at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
