Grant Holt has reportedly handed in a transfer request at Norwich City which has been rejected.
The 31-year old Canaries striker and captain is keen to depart Carrow Road and asked management if he could be sold but Sky Sports suggests the club have denied that demand.
Holt had a stellar debut season in the Premier League with 17 goals to be the second-highest English scorer in the league behind Wayne Rooney but was still left out of Roy Hodgson's England squad for this summer's Euro2012.
