Hollywood star Tom Hanks watched his beloved Aston Villa in action against the Portland Timbers this morning.
Hanks watched Aston Villa win a penalty shootout in their pre-season friendly against Portland Timbers after the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Oscar award-winning Philadelphia and Forest Gump actor was part of a star-studded crowd at the Jeld-Wen Field, including Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, to watch Paul Lambert's men in action.
Hanks, 57, is recognised as Villa's most famous celebrity fan alongside Prince William and greeted members of the team before kick-off before chatting with new boss Lambert.
