Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is trying to sign four players who helped the club achieve Premier League promotion last season. Everton full-back Seamus Coleman, strikers Stephen Dobbie from Swansea and DJ Campbell from Leicester, and Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan all impressed in loan spells at Bloomfield Road last term.
The 47-year-old told Tangerine Player: "I'm trying to bring those players back so at least I have what I finished the season with."
Holloway is also looking at Monaco midfielder Malaury Martin, who is currently on trial at Bloomfield Road and will travel with the squad on their pre-season trip to Devon.
"He's been in every French age group up to Under-21, and he's still only 21, and that's the sort of calibre of player I'm looking at," said Holloway.
