Holloway under increasing pressure at Palace

Ian Holloway is under growing pressure at Crystal Palace.

The Mirror says Holloway is under massive pressure to improve the results at Crystal Palace - or face the axe.

The Eagles boss Holloway has managed just one win from their opening seven games and that has left him languishing second from bottom in the Premier League.

Holloway got substantial backing in the transfer window to try and boost Palace's fight for survival after promotion via the play-offs last season.

But results have been disappointing and they face fellow strugglers Fulham and then Arsenal in their next two games.

Palace's hierarchy are realistic and know it will be a struggle but they want to see an improvement in results and Holloway's post match comments have been increasingly gloomy about their prospects.
