Holloway rubbishes Blackpool exit claims

Ian Holloway insists he won't quit Blackpool over a contract row.

The Seasiders boss is frustrated the club have still to reward him with a new deal in recognition of his Wembley play-off success last month, prompting fears among supporters that he might walk out.

However, Holloway claims he remains committed to Blackpool and is confident an agreement will be reached to keep him at Bloomfield Road.

"Anyone who thinks I would walk out on the club must be mad," he said. "My intention is to lead Blackpool in the Premier League next season and that's the chairman's intention too.

"It's gone on for a few weeks, but we are pretty close to sorting it out I think."
