Holloway: Promotion will guarantee Blackpool future

Ian Holloway says reaching the Premiership will setup Blackpool for years to come.

The Seasiders manager insists the money coming into the club will go to infrastructure and facilities.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "The wonderful thing about the club is that it has been owned by one family for so long.

"It is one of the most famous clubs in English footballing history - Sir Stanley Matthews, Mortensen and Jimmy Armfield - and it is now secure in these terrible times.

"It won't need a rich man's money to sort it put and that is the beautiful thing about it.

"We should have an infrastructure by the end of this - a training ground, the stadium, the pitch. It should be ready and worthy for this century and I am so proud to have been able to help them along the way with that."
