Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is happy to have Elliot Grandin trialling in preseason.
He brought Grandin to England when Blackpool manager.
"He hasn't been training so he has done remarkably well to look as neat and tidy as he did," he said.
"He hasn't been training at a club and I don't want to say much more."
