Holloway to get more hands-on at Palace

Ian Holloway is expected to become more hands on after the international break.

The Mirror says Holloway struggled during last season in the run-in to the play-offs but chairman Steve Parish kept faith and wants to be patient.

But the Eagles boss is under no illusions that results must improve as pressure mounts on him, Fulham boss Martin Jol and Cardiff's Malky Mackay as his relationship with owner Vincent Tan is under increasing strain.

Holloway has surprised some players by taking a more back seat role at training than they were expecting and he may now decide to become increasingly involved as pressure mounts.
