Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is looking for some big bruisers to sign.
A bad week for the Tangerines saw their chairman quit before they were hammered at Arsenal and had Ian Evatt sent off.
Holloway said: "I might be shopping in a Skoda garage rather than a Mercedes garage but I'm telling you some old bangers don't half polish up great."
Holloway added: "I admit I also need some big, strong horrible lumps in here because I might have to throw it into the box every now and again to survive.
"Are we going to be good enough? I honestly don't know. But I need to stay calm and try to play some football."
