Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar will be given an official farewell by Dutch fans on Saturday.

De Telegraaf says Van der Sar will be presented to fans at the Amsterdam ArenA before Holland's game against Hungary for a final goodbye.

While the Dutchman has agreed to play on next season with United, he turned down an offer from Holland coach Bert van Marwijk to take the No1 spot for the World Cup.

At 39, Van der Sar is the record caps holder for Holland with 130.
