Holger Osieck names Socceroo squad for Switzerland and Poland friendlies
Tim Cahill and Harry Kewell have been named in the Australian squad for two upcoming friendlies against Switzerland and Poland.
The 20 man squad named by new coach Holger Osieck consists of all overseas based players except for Gold Coast United's Jason Culina and defender Michael Beauchamp who is now based in the A-League with Melbourne Heart.
Scott McDonald makes his return to the Socceroos squad after narrowly missing out on final selection in the squad that travelled to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Matthew Spiranovic also returns to the Socceroos after last appearing for the national team against the Korea Republic which was played in Seoul in September of last year.
This will be the first time that the Qantas Socceroos will face Switzerland and Poland at senior international level.

dunno about that bouzanis he might jump ship and play for greece
are you kidding me? stop picking schwartzer and neill! those two HAVE to go if we want to move on from this over 35s soccer team. neill has looked hopeless for the socceroos in recent times.. time to pick eddy Bosnar and shane Lowry! enough Schwartzer and more Bouzanis!
'inside' you are an idiot. You're probably the same moron who complains about the lack of preparation when Australia performs poorly.
