Off contract Houston Dynamo star Stuart Holden is in transfer limbo in England. The Mirror says Holden was due to start training with Owen Coyle at the start of the week with Burnley before Bolton Wanderers made their move for the Houston Dynamo midfielder.

The Scottish-born star is currently staying with relatives in the area and waiting on word about heading for Bolton instead in the next few days.

Coyle used his contacts to set up the move for the free agent who wants to come to the Premier League in a full-time transfer and sharpen his skills ahead of the finals in South Africa.
