US international midfielder Stuart Holden has begun trials with Bolton Wanderers. Off contract from Houston Dynamo, Holden was expected to train with Burnley this month. However, the move from the Clarets to Bolton for manager Owen Coyle has seen the Scot invite Holden to test with the Trotters.
A Bolton insider has confirmed to Soccer 365 that Holden is training with the first team squad.
