Bolton have been handed on a boost ahead of the upcoming Premier League season with news that Stuart Holden is back in training.
The USA international, who turned 26 today, has been sidelined since March when he suffered a knee injury against Manchester United but is back in pre-season training with the Trotters and is delighted to be forward in his recovery.
"Best bday present 2 be kicking balls and running outside after 5 months out! Not long now!" he posted on Twitter.
