Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel suggests his Anfield departure came about because of recently sacked sporting director Damien Comolli.
The Dutchman, now with German club Hoffenheim, left Liverpool in January 2011 and was happy for the club when the Frenchman and the Reds parted ways recently.
"So Comoli got fired at LFC, good for LFC," he posted on Twitter.
And when quizzed if Comolli was the reason for his £8million move to Hoffenheim, Babel added: "Yes HE was.For him it [the sale of Babel] was just business."
