Hoffenheim launching bid for Man City striker Jo
Hoffenheim are keen on Manchester City striker Jo.
Surprise Bundesliga leaders Hoffenheim are believed to be weighing up a bid for the £19m man who has failed with City and would be allowed to leave, says the Manchester Evening News.
The German club are desperately seeking reinforcements after losing their leading marksman Vedad Ibisevic to injury for the rest of the season.
If they do make a bid for 21-year-old Jo, who arrived at City in the summer from CSKA Moscow, they would only be willing to pay £8m-9m but the Blues would take the financial hit in order to get the player off an escalating wage bill.
