Premier League clubs face a battle convincing Hoffenheim to sell Swansea City's on-loan winger Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish, Everton coach Jimmy Lumsden and United spy Martin Ferguson all watched Sigurdsson dazzle against Bolton on Saturday.
The loan deal has been controversial with the German side's supporters.
They still sing Sigurdsson's name every week and only a major fee for the 22-year-old will take the heat out of the decision.
That means the Premier League big hitters will have to get out their cheque books to make a move happen.
