Hoffenheim attacker Roberto Firmino has welcomed fresh transfer interest.

The Brazilian, 22, has scored 17 goals in 25 games this season and is being linked with Liverpool and Schalke.

"I hope that I will someday play for a major European club.

"It is important for me to play sometime abroad," said Firmino.
