England coach Roy Hodgson says he's happy with the form of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Hodgson says Rooney's issues with United are no concern to him.

Hodgson plans to stick by Rooney, saying: "Wayne will, I'm sure, be an important cog in our wheel.

"His club future is nothing to do with me."
