Hodgson settles on Everton skipper Neville for England role

England coach Roy Hodgson will push to add Everton skipper Phil Neville to his backroom team.

The Daily Mail says he has appointed Ray Lewington as his assistant and identified Neville as the former England international he would like to have on his team.

Gareth Southgate and Alan Shearer have also been mentioned as possibilities, as has Paul Ince.
