England coach Roy Hodgson will meet with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to discuss Harry Kane's situation.
The London Evening Standard says Kane is at the centre of a debate between club and country about how much football he should play this summer, and Pochettino intends to speak to the England boss to clarify their respective positions.
Coach Gareth Southgate is keen to have Kane for the European Under-21 Championships in June and the forward would like to take part. While Pochettino will not try to block Kane's selection, the Spurs head coach has said he would prefer Kane to take a month off after his first full season in the Premier League.
Hodgson counters that Kane could be excused Tottenham's close-season friendly against Sydney in Australia on May 30 - a 21,000-mile round trip a week after the season ends.
But Spurs want Kane on the trip as part of their PR campaign.
