Roy Hodgson is returning to Inter Milan after resigning as Finland coach.

It is believed he has agreed to become the new consultant to President Massimo Moratti and international representative for the club.

This would involve communicating with UEFA and the G14 union of Europe's top clubs.

It would be his third stint at the club after leading Inter to the UEFA Cup Final at the end of his two-year spell in 1997 and a brief return for two Serie A games and the UEFA play-off in 1999.
