West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson will not allow his players to let the season peter out.
Hodgson insists he will AXE any of his stars who switch off now with Albion all but safe from the drop.
He said: "I shall be ruthless in that area if I get the impression that we're safe but one or two players aren't playing like they were when we weren't safe.
"The three recent wins in a row lifted us into a comfortable position.
"If the fear has been removed to some extent, that is a good thing as long as we don't fall into the trap - complacency.
"I've not noticed any slackening in the training, of the players showing signs of not wanting to put the usual effort or the workrate in.
"I hope that remains until the end of the season. That is what we will be definitely pushing for - nothing less will be acceptable.""Then I'll be looking to the bench. All of them are bona fide Premier League players.
