England coach Roy Hodgson says Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson doesn't require any specialist training from Gary Neville.
Johnson did struggle at times during the friendly win over Peru.
"He doesn't need to," Hodgson replied when asked whether Johnson should talk to Manchester United legend Neville. "I think Glen from 2012 has been part of our set-up and we work on both defending and attacking. Glen is in good form at the moment and he was able to bring that to the game [against Peru]. We know Glen can attack and defend.
"How we want him to defend is something we've been working on since 2012 and you can go as far as saying in 2012 he and Ashley [Cole] were among our best players [at the Euros]. We want to bring that to the World Cup. I'm happy with him, yes."
