England coach Roy Hodgson is keeping tabs on Ravel Morrison's progress at West Ham United.

The Mail on Sunday says he watched Morrison and Ross Barkley go head-to-head in Everton's 3-2 win over the Hammers last week at Upton Park.

And it is understood Hodgson has had a conversation with West Ham boss Sam Allardyce with particular reference to the young player's attitude and aptitude.
