Hodgson to keep Palace whiz Zaha in England squad

England coach Roy Hodgson will stick with Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha for the friendly against Brazil.

The Daily Mail says Hodgson detailed assistant manager Ray Lewington to watch the £12m rated winger in action against Bolton on Saturday.

Zaha made his England debut against Sweden in November and is committed to the Three Lions after passing up the chance to play for the Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations.

The Palace winger, 20, was in mesmerising mood against Dougie Freedman's Bolton at Selhurst Park.

Lewington, a former Palace coach, will file another glowing reference to Hodgson today after watching the young winger in action at Selhurst Park.

England face Brazil at Wembley on February 6 and Hodgson will pick another experimental squad for the showpiece clash with Luiz Felipe Scolari's side.
