England coach Roy Hodgson is ready to hand West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino a first call-up.
The Daily Mail says Hodgson is ready to reward the player, who he knows well from his time in charge at the Hawthorns, with a senior cap in the next round of friendlies against Chile and Germany this month.
Berahino, who moved to England from war-torn Burundi with his mother aged 10, has played for England youth sides at all levels from Under 16 to the Under 21s, where he has netted four times in three matches since his first call-up in September.
