Hodgson hoping Odemwingie/Long partnership kicks off for West Brom

West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson is hoping that the strike pairing of Peter Odemwingie and Shane Long continues to blossom.

The duo played a full 90 minutes together in yesterday's 1-0 win at Norwich City, in which Odemwingie scored, and Hodgson is looking for more the next they step out together.

"I saw a lot of promise and potential from them as a partnership," he said.

"They did well but I'd like to think there's more to come from them and that they can play even better together than they did yesterday."

The pair will next get test their new partnership when the Baggies take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
