West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has repeated hopes of building on the current squad.
Hodgson is hoping next season will be one of continued progress at the Hawthorns as he seeks to establish the club in the top-flight.
"I hope we can build from here," he told talkSPORT. "The most important thing is keeping the nucleus of the squad together and then making one or two adjustments.
"It's important to bring in players that are suitable for the club. There are lots of good players out there but some are more suited to certain clubs than others, so we must be very careful with our recruitment to bring in players who will gel and make us better."
