England coach Roy Hodgson has told loud-mouth Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere to buck up his ideas.
Wilshere led a foul-mouthed chant - taunting rivals Spurs - at the Gunners' FA Cup parade in what was the latest in a series of public wrongdoings that have cast him in a poor light.
Asked specifically whether he was concerned about Wilshere's behaviour, Hodgson said: "You're concerned about everything these days.
"I do wish players would behave in an angelic manner. I've been wishing that for 40 years, but I'm coming to terms with the fact they do things that are ill-advised and not the right things to do.
"They often get punished, the FA step forward and make it clear what is unacceptable. I'm hardened to these incidents and don't get so apoplectic as some people do.
"I had a little word with him, but I won't tell you what I said."
