Hodgson confident keeping West Brom stars

West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson insists they won't consider selling their stars this summer.

The likes of Peter Odemwingie and Chris Brunt have been linked with big club moves away.

"Our players are under contract for next season," Hodgson told the WBA website.

"We don't have any worries regarding players' contracts running out or being in danger of losing them. Speculation is part and parcel of the business.

"I don't get involved with it.

"I would seriously expect, if we stay up, for the club to hold onto the players we have. I'm hoping the players we have can continue and have another year in the Premier League with us, if we're lucky enough to be there.

"Our conversations are more in terms of what needs to be done next season to improve upon the squad rather than any discussions about players we might lose, because we're not anticipating losing them."
