Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is relaxed over Brede Hangeland signing a new contract at Craven Cottage. Hangeland, the 27-year-old centre-back, has been linked to other clubs and has not signed a fresh deal since arriving from Copenhagen during the January transfer window last season.
"We're in the throes now of preparing a contract suggestion for Brede that he's more than happy to see, and that's the situation," Hodgson said.
"He certainly hasn't turned anything down as we haven't as yet made him an offer. But he knows we're going to make him an offer and he's very happy to talk to us about that offer.
"That's something which I'm sure will be resolved in the future."
