Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson won his first game and witnessed his first goal as the Eagles defeated Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
The former England manager took over at Selhurst Park last week, but failed to win his first game in charge as Palace lost 1-0 to Southampton at home on Saturday.
Both teams made nine changes to their starting XI's from their last Premier League match, and it was Hodgson's experiment that paid dividends.
The 70-year-old tinkered with his forward line, allowing Bakery Sako and Lee Chung-yong to start up front.
And it was the latter who found the eventual winner after thirteen minutes of play, heading home Andros Townsend's cross past Terriers keeper Joel Coleman.
